Privacy Policy

1. Overview
We aim to collect as little data as possible. There are no user accounts, no registration, and no personal profiles. You can use the tool without telling us who you are.
2. What We Collect
- Video URLs: The YouTube links you submit for summarization.
- Generated summaries (cached): We cache generated summaries on our server for deduplication and performance. This means if someone requests the same video, we serve the cached result instead of re-processing it. This cache is system-level and not tied to any user identity.
- IP address (hashed): We hash your IP address with SHA-256 and a salt, then use it solely for daily rate limiting. The hash is stored in short-lived KV storage and expires within 24 hours.
- Waitlist email (optional): If you voluntarily submit your email on the pricing page, we store it to notify you when Pro launches.
3. What We Do NOT Collect
- We do not store original video content or raw captions. Captions are fetched, processed, and discarded.
- We do not create user accounts or profiles.
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
- We do not run advertising on this site.

6. AI-Generated Content
Study packs are generated by AI (DeepSeek with GLM-5.2 fallback). We do not guarantee accuracy. Study packs are for reference only and should not replace watching the original video for critical information.
7. Cookies & Analytics
If we enable analytics (such as GA4 or Microsoft Clarity), those scripts only load after you explicitly consent via our cookie banner. Choosing "Essential Only" prevents analytics scripts from loading. We may also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-friendly and does not use cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.
8. Your Rights
You can request deletion of your waitlist email at any time. Since we do not maintain user accounts, there is no personal data to export or delete beyond the waitlist. Contact: our contact page.
9. Children's Privacy
Our service is not directed to children under 13.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We will update the date above when we do.
